 diary accounts from confederate and union troops, letters to loved ones at home or recieved from home, and little-known tales from the civil war.  

Expierence a talk by famed Jekyll Island author Pamela Bauer Mueller as she tells the story of famous St. Simons slave Neptune Small.



Then explore The St. Simons Lighthouse.

This field trip is available to 4th and 5th grade students for the cost of $6 per student.
